The vineyards of Château Anthonic (30 hectares) are virtually all in a single contiguous geographical area. This is criss-crossed by a network of ditches that are also humid zones. The area is bordered by copses and groves, and abuts on a hardwood forest.
Our vines are therefore a natural refuge for all sorts of animals: burrowing owls, hoopoes, harriers, falcons, partridges, hares, snakes, frogs, toads and newts…
